Mischief Tickets

Case Study

Image

Mischief is a British theatre company, primarily known for their works such as the award-winning play The Play That Goes Wrong and the BBC television series The Goes Wrong Show. We have worked with Mischief since 2016. In 2019, the brand had four separate shows playing in London, all on sale at the same time, performing at different venues owned by different venue operators: The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery at the Criterion Theatre, Peter Pan Goes Wrong at the Alexandra Palace Theatre and Groan Ups at the Vaudeville Theatre.

Challenge

In order to sell tickets for all available Mischief shows on one single branded platform, we needed to connect multiple ticketing systems to our selling platform and the Mischief Tickets white label. To maintain Mischief’s direct brand-customer relationships we needed to offer their customers the ability to book tickets for all the brand’s shows directly from the brand, rather than from multiple venues separately.

Solution

Our bespoke white labels are provided by Ingresso and their middleware ticketing system Ticketswitch, which offers API connections to multiple ticketing systems. Our Mischief Tickets white label was capable of connecting to all needed ticketing systems and therefore enabling us to provide a single branded platform to sell all available Mischief shows across different venues. We provided the on-sale support for all events and worked closely with all venues to provide the highest possible level of customer service for the brand, making sure the customer experience is always the best. By understanding and fulfilling the brand’s ticketing needs, we were able to improve and maintain their connection with their fans, cultivate repeat audiences and meaningful relationships.

SIX Tickets

Case Study

Image

SIX is a global musical sensation written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. We have been providing Relationship Ticketing for SIX The Musical since the show opened in the West End in 2019 and helped the brand build a very strong following and countless customer relationships since. In the summer of 2022, alongside the West End run, the show performed as part of the Hampton Court Palace Festival.

Challenge

To fulfil the brand’s opportunity to keep and control the whole customer journey and sell out their Hampton Court Palace shows, we needed to extend our existing SIX Tickets (West End) product to be able to control all available inventory at Hampton Court Palace and make the maximum possible yield on all ticket sales.

Solution

We used TixTrack’s Nliven as our back-end inventory system for the events and linked it via API to our SIX Tickets white label. We worked closely with Nliven and Ingresso to build a highly personalised and completely branded customer journey and helped the brand to fully utilise the existing customer base demand to sell out all their Hampton Court Palace shows. We also provided the brand with full inventory and price control for the events, ensuring that the producers and investors obtained the maximum amount of the box office income. We provided the on-sale and at venue support, and handled all the pre- and post-event customer service, making the whole customer journey fully branded from the ticket purchase, through the pre-attendance communications, to attendance on the day. Furthermore, with our existing SIX Tickets white label we were able to give customers unable to use their Hampton Court Palace tickets an opportunity to keep the value of their booking and use it for the show in the West End instead, ensuring the brand-customer relationship doesn’t suffer when things don’t go to plan for their customers. With the opt-in rate of over 70% we further extended the brand’s customer base, which we continue to turn into sold out West End shows today.
